The Challenge
Narendra Modi was campaigning across Gujarat and could not physically reach the audiences he needed to. Rural constituencies were logistically impossible to visit at the frequency the campaign required, and a video address does not hold a crowd in the way a person does.
The Musion Solution
Holographic telepresence at a scale nobody had attempted. Modi spoke once, from one location, and appeared simultaneously as a life-size hologram at 53 separate sites across 26 cities.
The Deployment
10m x 4m foil systems packed into container trucks and driven to public parks and village grounds. Each unit was rigged on site, operated for the address, then de-rigged and moved on. Satellite distribution carried the signal to every location at once. Audiences of up to 30,000 people gathered at individual sites.
The Result
A Guinness World Record for the most simultaneous broadcasts of a holographic illusion. It remains the largest holographic telepresence deployment ever staged, and the clearest demonstration that the format works at a scale no other in person medium can reach.
