Musion holds foil stock and operates its own rolling and cutting process in house. For standard sizes we pack and dispatch within 14 days of an order being placed. An order is placed on receipt of payment in full.
Musion foil has been supplied to installations across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and the Americas. We handle export documentation, crating and freight as standard. Tell us where it is going and we will quote delivered.
There is copy foil on the market, much of it manufactured in China for food processing, sold on price and without certification. It is not the same material. Musion Eyeliner Foil is M1 certified. For any permanent installation in a public venue, that certification is the difference between a system you can legally operate and one you very likely should not.

It does not. Musion foil has been deployed into brightly lit award ceremonies, LED-backed television studios, daylight shop windows and outdoor national celebrations. The foil itself is optically clear and effectively invisible to an audience. What matters is the relationship between the projected image and the surrounding light, and that is a design problem Musion has been solving for twenty years.
A frameless foil has no visible structure at all. At the other end of the range, a 12 metre foil packs into a container truck and travels between public parks. Foil can be suspended from existing rafters on motorised winches, mounted into a shop window, built into a permanent theatre, or rigged and de-rigged inside a day.

A 10m x 4m Eyeliner foil held aloft by motorised winches in the rafters of the Coachella main stage, ahead of the Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg live set. The mirror reflecting the stage lighting is visible in the top left corner of the foil. To the audience it was entirely invisible.
5m x 4m
A 5m x 4m frameless foil. There is no visible structure. The hologram appears in the centre of an ordinary lit room with a bright LED backdrop.
A shop window foil. Girls Aloud in the window of Superdrug Kensington. Daylight, street level, no darkened room and no visible apparatus.
A large boxed foil for the Royal Performance at the Parliament Building Inauguration in Manama, Bahrain. For the first time, multiple life-sized holograms of men on horseback and camels.
10m x 4m
A 10m x 4m foil designed into a massive lighting set for the Black Eyed Peas at the NRJ Awards in Cannes. Twin 20,000 lumen projectors. The same foil dimensions as Coachella, in a completely different environment.
Double foil: 16m x 8m and 4m x 3m
A double foil. In the foreground a 16m x 8m foil. Behind it a second foil at 4m x 3m for the drum riser. The 2005 Gorillaz performance with De La Soul marked the first large format appearance of live humans performing alongside CGI characters.
13m x 8m frameless
A giant 13m x 8m frameless foil paired with 1.5mm GOB coated LED occupying just 3.6 square metres. Developed from the Musion foil built for the SKY television Christmas production.
13m x 6m
A 13m x 6m Eyeliner Flame Retardant Foil built into an ornate proscenium stage for the Michael Jackson performance at the Billboard Music Awards. Note the scale of the auditorium and the depth of the set around the holographic figure.
12m x 4m
A 12m x 4m foil. This configuration became the base design for permanent K-POP holographic theatres installed across South Korea, Japan and China. Each equipped with three 20,000 lumen HD hologram projectors.

A 10m x 4m foil that packs into a container truck. Forty of these were set up and operated in villages and public parks across India for a single political campaign, reaching audiences that could not otherwise be visited.
50m x 8m
A 50m x 8m foil driven by sixteen 18,000 lumen projectors, blended to produce a life-size tram as a 48m x 5m holographic image. The largest Pepper’s Ghost image ever produced.
